I have known some sisters of mercy
and when my life fell to pieces
they were there
and gave warmth, care
and some consideration
at a small price.
When my life was bare
and the one that I loved
had moved on
to another,
the sisters of mercy
had compassion
and installed faith
that I would overcome.
